SOLAR -- MEDINE.

Sam. Solar, son of Joseph Solar and the late Nesida Guedry, of this city, and 
Miss Frances Medine, daughter of Lawrence Medine and Philomene Falcon, of Bayou 
Lafourche, were married at the Catholic church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 
o'clock, in the presence of a number of relatives and friends. The bride's 
sister, Miss Lucretia Medine, was maid of honor, and the groom had Joseph P. 
Landry as his best man. Other attendants were Miss Elda Solar and Honore Falcon. 
The Chief joins the numerous friends of the happy young couple in extending them 
cordial congratulations and best wishes for a long and blissful wedded life.
