MICHEL -- MELANCON


Theodule Michel, Jr., the stalwart young son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodule Michel, of 
this city, and Miss Eleoanore Melancon, the attractive daughter of Mrs. Joseph 
Melancon, of Darrow, were married at the local Catholic church at 5 o'clock 
Wednesday afternoon, in the presence of a large gathering of relatives and 
friends, Rev. J.M.T. Massardier officiating. The bride was attended by her 
sister, Miss Nita Melancon, and Wilfred Yentzen stood with the groom as best 
man. The young couple have taken up their residence in one of the cozy Cafiero 
cottages in Lessard street. The Chief joins their host of friends in extending 
them cordial congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy married life.
