MILLER -- MILLER

Mr. John Miller, a young merchant doing business at Memphis, Tenn., came to this 
place last week and on Saturday captured one of Donaldsonville's fair daughters 
-- his cousin, Miss Louisa P. Miller, daughter of Mrs. Henry Hether of 
Mississippi street. The couple were married at the residence of the bride's 
parents by Rev. R.S. Stuart and at once left by rail for the groom's Tennessee 
home. The wedding was exceedingly private, as Mr. Miller's time was too limited 
to permit of any delay for a reception, banquet or other festivities. The comely 
pair take with them the best wishes of a number of warm friends, and the CHIEF 
adds its hearty congratulations.
