(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, October 22, 1910, page 5 HARRELL -- POIRRIER Miss Evela Poirrier, the talented and attractive daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Camille Poirrier of this city, and John D. Harrell, a well-known young business man of Gonzales, will be married at the local Catholic church on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 5 o'clock in the morning and will leave on the 6 o'clock train for New Orleans, where they will spend several days before proceeding to their home at Gonzales. Miss Poirrier was one of the efficient teachers of the Gonzales high school during the session of 1909-10 and has been engaged in a similar capacity at the same institution since the opening of the current school year. She and the fortunate man of her choice have a host of friends in every section of the parish who will join The Chief in extending them cordial congratulations anent their approaching happiness and best wishes for a long and blissful married life.
