(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, April 26, 1919, page 2 MARCELLE -- PROFITTE Anthony Marcelle of St. Elizabeth plantation, and Miss Pauline Proffitte, daughter of Vite Profitte, a farmer of the same neighborhood, were married last Wednesday at 3 o'clock in the afternoon at the Catholic church, Rev. Father Boudreaux officiating. The bride was given away by her father. The best man was Frank Marcelle, a brother of the groom, and Miss Mary Marcelle, a sister, acted as bridesmaid. The other attendants were Charles Ordille and Miss Angelina Ordille. The ceremony was followed by a sumptuous dinner and reception at the home of the groom's parents. The groom was a member of Company A, 29th Regiment, and was discharged at Camp Beauregard about two months ago. The young couple will reside on St. Elizabeth plantation where young Marcelle is employed as assistant manager.
