GANEL -- RAMIREZ

Alfred Ganel, an estimable young citizen of this town, and Miss Cecelia 
Ramirez, the accomplished daughter of Mrs. Edgar Ramirez, were married at 
the Catholic church at 5:30 o'clock Tuesday evening in the presence of a 
large gathering of relatives and friends, Rev. L. G. Baudin officiating. The 
bride was attended by her sister, Miss Alice Ramirez, and the groom's 
younger brother, Vic. Ganel, acted as best man. After the ceremony the happy 
couple were tendered an informal reception at the home of the bride's mother 
in Opelousas street. Numerous toasts were offered and much good cheer 
prevailed. The Chief takes pleasure in extending congratulations and good 
wishes to the newly mated pair, and trusts that the span of their married 
life will extend through many happy and prosperous years.
