WILD -- RAMIREZ

The marriage of Gottlieb C. Wild and Miss Lydia Ramirez was solemnized at the 
Catholic church at 4:30 o'clock Thursday morning, Rev. C.M. Chambon officiating 
in the presence of relatives and close friends of the contracting parties. The 
bride, who is prepossessing daughter of Mrs. E.A. Ramirez, was attended by Miss 
Euphemie Guigou and the groom's brother, M. F. Wild, acted as best man. 
Immediately after the ceremony the young couple departed via the Mississippi 
Valley route for New Orleans, where they enjoyed a brief stay, returning last 
night to take up their residence with the bride's mother, at her home in 
Opelousas street. Both these young people were born and reared in 
Donaldsonville, and both possess many fine qualities of heart and mind which 
have won for them a wide circle of friends and well-wishers who take pleasure in 
extending them cordial congratulations upon their happy marriage, coupled with 
the earnest hope that they may be vouchsafed prosperity and contentment in 
bounteous measure throughout a wide span of years.
