THIAC -- TRUXILLO.

Octave Thiac, of New Orleans, and Miss Eleanore Truxillo, an attractive 
young woman of Paincourtville, were married at the St. Francis of Assissium 
Catholic church in Smoke Bend Thursday of last week, the 6th inst., Rev. 
Charles Tessier officiating. After the ceremony the happy couple repaired to 
the residence of the bride's brother, Santiago Truxillo, in Nicholls avenue, 
where a sumptuous repast was served and a pleasant time enjoyed. 
Subsequently Mr. and Mrs. Thiac left for their future home in New Orleans, 
taking with them the cordial felicitations and good wishes of a host of 
friends in this community and elsewhere.
