HEBERT -- VEGA

Janvier Hebert, formerly of Plaquemine, but for the past several years a 
resident of Donaldsonville, and Miss Constance Vega, the pretty daughter of Mr. 
and Mrs. Paul Vega of Belle Alliance, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony 
at the local Catholic church at 5:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Rev. L.G. 
Baudin officiating. The attendants were Isidore Hebert of Plaquemine, a brother 
of the groom, and Miss Carmen Esneault of Faubourg la Pipe. Immdediately after 
the ceremony the bridal party drove to the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Vega at 
Velle Alliance, where a reception was tendered the newly married couple. 
Congratulation and good wishes were heaped upon the pair and numerous toasts 
were offered to their future health, happiness and prosperity, much good cheer 
ensuing. Mr. and Mrs. Hebert have taken up their residence in one of the Vega 
cottages in Houmas street, between Claiborne and Conway streets, where The Chief 
hopes they will spend many years in the enjoyment of all the blessings that 
married life can possibly bestow.
