(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, June 28, 1913, page 4 BLOOMENSTIEL -- WEILL Owing to the social prominence of both families in this section, much interest will be felt in the marriage of Mose Frank Bloomenstiel to Miss Ray Weill, which was celebrated in New Orleans at the Gruenewald Hotel on the afternoon of Thursday, June 26, at 3 o'clock, Rabbi H. Rosenwasser, of Baton Rouge, officiating. The ceremony took place in the gold room of the hotel, which was attractively decorated for the occasion with a profusion of palms, ferns and flowers. At the appointed hour the bride, a dainty brunette, gowned in an exquisite bridal robe of white charmeuse made with a court train, and with an overdress of shadow lace, entered leaning on the arm of her father, to the strains of a wedding march beautifully rendered on the piano by Miss Carolyn Tufano, of Whitecastle. Her veil of illusion was gracefully arranged in cap effect and was held in place with sprays of orange blossoms. She carried a white brocaded satin bible, embellished with valley lilies. Next came the maid of honor, Miss Bernice Weill, a sister of the bride, who made a charming picture in her dainty gown of white lingerie. She carried a shower bouquet of la France roses. The ushers were Julius Weill and Abe H. Bloomenstiel, while the groom had as his best man his brother, Alex. Bloomenstiel, all of whom wore white linen suits. After the ceremony the bridal party and their guests repaired to one of the private dining-halls of the spacious hotel, where a delightful reception was tendered them. The young couple left later for a honey-moon trip to the gulf coast, and after an absence of several days will return to Donaldsonville to reside. The fair bride is the daughter of Mayor and Mrs. Gus. Weill, of Whitecastle, and is an unusually prepossessing and accomplished young woman, who is loved and admired by a wide circle of friends. The groom is the son of Mrs. C. Bloomenstiel, of Baton Rouge, and is a progressive young business man of this city, being associated with his brother, Alex. Bloomenstiel, in the conduct of the Colomb real estate and insurance agency. He holds a high place in the esteem and confidence of all who have the pleasure of knowing him. A large number of handsome and costly gifts from friends at home and aboard testify to the popularity of the young couple. The Chief extends its heartiest congratulations and the best of good wishes fro an abundance of happiness and substantial prosperity in the years to come.
