(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, July 13, 1918, Image 3 McCORMICK -- WELDON Miss Estelle Catherine Weldon and Charles McCormick, well-known young people of St. James, were married at the Methodist parsonage in Donaldsonville at noon Friday, Rev. W. H. Giles officiating. The bride is the attractive daughter of J. E. Weldon, superintendent of the Bowie Lumber Company's sawmill at St. James, and the groom is a valued and efficient young employee of the same corporation. After a honeymoon on the Gulf coast, Mr. and Mrs. McCormick will take up their residence in St. James. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Weldon and J. D. Weldon accompanied the young couple to Donaldsonville and witnessed the pretty ceremony which united them in wedlock. The Chief joins a host of friends in extending congratulations and good wishes to the popular bride and groom.
