(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, August 20, 1904, page 5 OHLMEYER -- WERNER Louis Ohlmeyer, the competent young electrician at the powerhouse, and Miss Madeline Werner, the pretty daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Werner, eloped last Sunday afternoon and were married in Napoleonville, the ceremony marking the crowning of a romance that has extended through many months. The couple went for a drive Sunday afternoon and did not return at the usual hour, the first intimation of their whereabouts being received Monday morning when Mr. Ohlmeyer telephoned from Napoleonville that he and Miss Werner had been married there the previous day. The young couple have taken up their residence in the neat little cottage adjoining the powerhouse, where The Chief hopes they will spend many happy years.
