(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, July 01, 1905, page 4 BARMAR -- WILD Edward Barmar, of New Orleans, and Miss Sophie Wild, of Donaldsonville, were married at the Catholic church at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the presence of a large gathering of relatives and friends, Rev. Father Crozier officiating. The maid of honor was Miss Cecile Creoli, and Gottlieb Wild, a brother of the bride, was Mr. Barmar's best man. The young couple left on the 3:05 T. and P. train for New Orleans, their future home, where The Chief hopes they will enjoy many years of uninterrupted happiness and prosperity. The groom is head shipping clerk of the big lumber manufacturing firm of W. W. Carre & Bro., and the bride is the charming daughter of Louis J. Wild, a prominent citizen of this town. Additional Comments: NOTE: The correct spelling of the groom's last name is Bramer. That is how it reads on his and his wife's headstone.
