Cook, formerly of this community, but who for some years past has resided in Pennsylvania, was married on the 21st ultimo to Miss Florence Woodring, daughter of a prominent attorney of South Bethlehem, in the latter state. The wedding was the outcome of a romance dating back to the period of Mr. Cook's attendance at Lehigh University in South Bethlehem, at which time he made the acquaintance of the attractive young woman who has now become his companion for life. Graduating from Lehigh in 1913, as a mechanical engineer, Mr. Cook assumed a position in the ordnance department of the Bethlehem Steel Works, and upon America's entry into the world war he was called into the service of the United States and transferred to the Anderson ordnance works at Rochester, New York. Many friends hereabout will be pleased to learn of his happy marriage, and will join in the felicitations and good wishes extended the popular young couple by their coterie of friends elsewhere.
