Clerk The United States of America State of Louisiana - Assumption Parish Before me, the undersigned authority, personally came and appeared Tobias Ohmar, to me well-known, who upon oath declared and said = I am over twenty- one years of age complete, having been born in Bavaria, Germany, in the year 1831; I came to the United States of America in the year 1850, landing at New Orleans, La.; I have been living and residing in the Parish of Assumption, La., for more than ten years without interruption, it is my bona fide intention to become a citizen of the United States of America, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty whatever, and particularly to William II Emperor of Germany, of whom I am now a subject.
