Know Ye, That Demophon LeBlanc a private of Captain J K Gourdaine, Company G 18th Regiment of Louisiana Infantry who was enlisted the fifth day of October one thousand eight hundred and sixty one, to serve twelve months is herby honorably discharged from the ARMY OF THE CONFEDERATE STATES, by reason of being under 18 years of age having been born on the 3rd day of October 1845. The said D. LeBlanc attaining 18 years must report as a conscript Said Demophon LeBlanc was born in the Parish of Assumption in the State of Louisiana, is seventeen years of age, five feet five inches high, dark complexion, grey eyes, dark hair and by occupation, when elisted, a student.
