Westerman (Taken from microfilm of the "Assumption Pioneer," a weekly newspaper, on file at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, La. These notices which appeared in the paper give locations and directions to land not always specified in the legal records at the courthouse, making it easier to determine the area where the parties lived.
