She was a homemaker. Wife of the late James Samuel Langston, Sr. Mother of 3 sons: James Samuel Langston, Jr., John Edward Langston and the late Robert Bruce 'Cuz' Langston; 4 daughters: Lydia Mary Kendall, Lorraine Lucy Miller, Linda Ann Freeman and Susan Ray Aucoin; 28 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; 3 brothers: the late Joe, Ulyses and Jules Dugas; 6 sisters: Blanche Pilliteri, Lucille Mullet, Anna Dugas, Genny Dardar, Louise Dugas and Maude Prestenbach. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Schoen Funeral Home of Slidell, 3808 Pontchartrain Dr., Slidell, LA on Monday, February 15, 1999 at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be held also on Monday, February 15, 1999 from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Langston was born in Paincourtville and lived in Slidell for the past 19 years. Survivors include two sons, John Edward and James Samuel Langston Jr.; four daughters, Lydia Mary Kendall, Lorraine Lucy Miller, Linda Ann Freeman and Susan Ray Aucoin; two sisters, Blanche Pilliteri and Lucille Mullet, both of New Orleans; 28 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
