(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871 - current, March 04, 1905, Image 4 Death of Alcee LeBlanc. - Alcee LeBlanc, a native and life-long resident of the parish of Assumption, died at his home in Klotzville at 7 o'clock Wednesday night, aged 55 years. He had been sick for only a short while with pneumonia, but the best medical attention and the most devoted nursing proved powerless to avert a fatal ending of the dreaded disease. Mr. LeBlanc's wife preceded him to the grave, passing away about two weeks ago as the result of an attack of the same malady which ended her husband's life. The remains of the lamented gentleman were laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery at Paincourtville at 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Mr. LeBlanc was the father of Edouard LeBlanc, of Natchitoches, who is a son-in- law of Mrs. Nicholas LeBlanc, of Dondaldsonville. The Chief tenders sympathy most profound to the bereaved family and friends.
