Avit Felix Couvillion was born 29 May 1871 in Avoyelles.  He was the son of Augustin
A. Couvillion and Florence Couvillion.

Ella Noemie Guillory was born 20 July 1878 in Avoyelles and was baptized on 31 
August 1878 in Plaucheville (recorded at Church of the Assumption of Choupique).  She
was the daughter of Leon Fernand (Ferdinand) Guillory and Angeline (Angelina, Angelle)
Mayeux.

Avit and Ella was married in Moreauville, Avoyelles Parish, on 2 December 1897. 

They became the parents of nine children:

1.	Florence Couvillion b.1897 (married Joseph Willie Lemoine)
2.	Enos Couvillion b.1899 (married Helen Lemoine)
3.	Marie Nathalie (Natalie) Couvillion b. 1902 (married Abdon Joseph Lemoine)
4.	Elma Couvillion b. 1904 (married - Desselle)
5.	Allen Couvillion b. 1906 (married Jane -)
6.	Emeric P. Couvillion b. 1907 (married Anne -)
7.	Mayven Couvillion b. 1908 (married Ashton Dufour)
8.	Augustine Couvillion b.1909 (spouse still living)
9.	Velma Couvillion b. c1911 (married 1-Edward Juneau, 2-?)

Ella died of cancer on 21 January 1937 in Moreauville and was buried at Sacred Heart
Cemetery in Moreauville.  Avit died on 30 April 1943 in Moreauville and was buried 
in the grave with Ella.

In the picture of Avit, Ella and nine children there is an unidentified male in the 
top left corner of the picture (wearing a hat).  It is suspected that this person 
might be Joseph Willie (Willie E.) Lemoine who later married Avit & Ella's oldest
daughter, Florence (sitting below him in the picture).  However, this is not confirmed.
