Mrs. Ordean Gaspard Aymond, age 76, of Cottonport, LA died on Wednesday, 
December 19, 2001 at Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville, LA.

Survivors include her husband, Carol J. Aymond, Sr. of Cottonport, two sons, 
Carol Aymond, Jr. of Bunkie and A. David Aymond of Mandeville; three 
daughters, Crystal Hedrick of Sevierville, TN, Darla J. Aymond of Mandeville, 
and Martha Bordelon of Cottonport; one sister Verda Nugent of Jackson, MS; 14 
grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
 
Services were at 3:00pm Thursday, December 20, 2001 in St. Mary's Assumption 
Catholic Church with Fr. Matt Wollett officiating. Entombment was in the 
Aymond Cemetery, Cottonport under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, 
Bunkie.

Additional Comments:
If I remember correctly, when the newspaper printed the obituary, they 
mistakenly put the year as 2002. This is incorrect. I am her grand-daughter 
and I am certain that she died in 2001.
