Elgy (sic) Barron, age 97 of Dupont (La.) died 12 August 1996 in Rapides 
General Hospital. Survivors:  Step-Son, E.J. Gauthier of Alexandria (La.) 
2 Daughters:  Claudia Bacon or Dupont and Edith Thibodeaux of Bunkie 
(La.).  3 Sisters:  Norma Woodward & Aline Leistman, both of Alexandria;  
Celina Darberousse of Shreveport (La.). 6 Grandchildren and 9 Great-
Grandchildren. Services: Held at 10 am. Wednesday in Immaculate 
Conception Catholic Church Burial:  In Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, 
Plaucheville, La  under direction of Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport 
(La.).
