DIED, On Thursday the 10th inst., Prudent D'Artlys, in the 41st year of his 
age. He was a native of Normandy, France.

M. D. breathed his last after a very short illness. He was the proprietor of 
this paper, and his loss will be severely felt by his family. The french press 
of Louisiana loses, also, in him one of its oldest members.
