It is with regret we chronicle the death at Marksville of Mrs. O. B. 
DeBellevue the beloved wife of our confrere, the editor and proprietor of 
the Marksville Enterprise. Mrs. DeBellevue, nee Angeline Normand had reached 
her sixty-ninth year at the time of her demise which occurred on Sunday, 
October 13th, 1918. Mr. and Mrs. DeBellevue had enjoyed fifty years of 
connubial bliss, spending most of their lives in the town of Marksville 
where they reared ten devoted sons and daughters, six boys and four girls, 
among the sons being our own fellow-citizen Mr. Sidney B. DeBellevue. To the 
bereaved husband and children The Enterprise extends its condolences.
