Ellington Ducote, age 76, died 18 January 1996 at Bunkie General 
Hospital. He was a resident of Bunkie and was a custodian for 38 
years at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Bunkie. Survivors: 
Wife, Ruby Duplechin of Bunkie, La. Daughters: Earline Firmin, Toni 
Blalock and Irene Johnson, all of Bunkie, La. Brothers: Leonard Ducote 
of Alexandria, La. and Elvin Ducote of Bunkie, La. Sister: Mercedes 
Ducote of Bunkie, La. 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. 
Services: At St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Monsignor Steve 
Testa officiating. Burial: In Pythian Cemetery under direction of 
Melancon Funeral Home in Bunkie.
