LaBorde
Claude J. LaBorde, on Thursday, October 24, 1974 at 12:40 o'clock p.m. Beloved 
husband of Sybil Chatelain. Father of Hubert P. LaBorde, Jesse J. LaBorde, and 
Charles E. LaBorde. Son of the late Cora Roy and Paulin LaBorde. Brother of 
Mrs. Agnes Ducote, Mrs. Della Bishop, Mrs. Pannie Ducote, Mrs. Cecile St. 
Germain, Mrs. Luby Carson, Mrs. Roxie Farve, Mrs. Geraldine Bordelon, Mrs. 
Mildred Armand, Mrs. Jane Rabalais, Mrs. Jeanette Strandberg, Louis, Herman, 
Roy, Dave, Norris, and the late Charles LaBorde. Also survived by 7 
grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends of the family, 
also employees of Charity Hospital, New Orleans Public Service, and New 
Orleans Public Belt Railroad are invited to attend the funeral. Services from 
the Jefferson home of Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd., on 
Saturday, October 26, 1974 at 10:30 o'clock a.m. followed by a requiem mass at 
St. Christopher's Catholic Church. Interment in Garden of Memories Mausoleum. 
Visitation on Friday, October 25, 1974 after 6 o'clock p.m.

Additional Comments:
Although the obituary does not mention it my great grandfather Claude was born 
in Hessmer, LA
