Alcide Lachney, age 91, died 19 January 1996 at Oak Haven Nursing Home 
(location not given). Survivors:  Wife, Pauline Lachney of Fifth Ward, La.  
Daughters:  Hilda Dauzat, Odette Johnson & Elaine Dauzat of Fifth Ward, La. 
Step-daughters: Oline Richard of Nederland, Tx. Bernadine Kenney of 
Jennings, La. Step-son: Samuel Dauzat of Port Arthur, Tx. Sisters: Ella 
Guillot of Fifth Ward, La.  Adella McCain of Alexandria, La. Brother: 
Edwin Lachney of Fifth Ward, La. 9 Grandchildren and 25 Great-grandchildren 
and 6 Great-great-grandchildren. 7 Step-grandchildren and 12 Step-great-
grandchildren. Services: Rev. Mathew Michaels, officiating at Our Lady of 
Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial: In the church cemetery, no. 2, under 
direction of Hixon Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville. Pallbearers: 
Michael Guillory, Mike Dauzat, Allen Dauzat Jr., Reggie Dauzat, Brady 
Baudin and Greg Dauzat.
