Frances Fowler Moreau, age 73, resident of Marksville, where she died 
at home 17 May 1996.  She was Avoyelles Parish Tax Assessor for 20 years. 
A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marksville, former Eucharist 
Minister, Ladies Altar Society, the Catholic Daughters and the American 
Legion Auxillary. Survivors:  Daughter: Paula M. Saucier of West Monroe, 
La.  Sons: Douglas Paul Moreau of St. Amant, La. Van Martin Moreau and 
Brian Lee Moreau, both of Marksville. Sister: Lee Bordelon of Marksville. 
Brothers: Bill Fowler of Beaumont, Texas & Addison Fowler of Hammond, La. 
Grandchildren, 11; Great-Grandchildren 1. Services: Held at 2 pm. Saturday
in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial: Under direction of Hixson Brother's
Funeral Home of Marksville, La. in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
