A-3, Column 1. William Morros, age 93 of Alexandria died at 5:45 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 1993 in Summit Nursing Home. He was a native of New Orleans and moved to Alexandria as a child. In 1925 he moved to Bunkie where he later started W.M. Bill Morros Auto Parts and Jewelry Stores. He and his wife, Mildred, operated the business until their retirement in 1985. Survivors include 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Services: To be at 3 p.m. today in the chapel of Hixson Brothers (Funeral Home), Alexandria with Rev. Dr. Henry C. Blount and Rev. Charles Langford officiating.. Burial: In Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville under direction of Hixson's. Memorials may be made to the Nursing Endowments at Louisiana State University at Alexandria or Louisiana College in Pineville (La.).
