Funeral services for Emily "Sue" Hood Normand were at 3 pm, Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008
at St. Mary's 
Assumption Catholic Church, Cottonport with Fr. A. Dharmaraj officiating. Burial
followed in St. 
Mary's Cemetery #2 under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie, Louisiana.

Mrs. Sue, 67, of Cottonport, Louisiana passed away on Friday, Feb. 1, 2008 in
Opelousas General 
Hospital. 

She is survived by her husband, Stephen R. "Buddy" Normand of Cottonport; two sons,
Glenn and 
his wife, Faye Normand of Cottonport and George Normand of Cottonport; four
daughters, Elizabeth 
Painter of Cottonport, Gayla Mayeux of Alexandria, Monica Normand of Houston, Texas
and 
Charlene and her husband, Mark Tigner of Cottonport; three brothers, Leopold "Paul"
and his wife, 
Joann Hood of Portland, Texas, Gordon and his wife, Teeny Hood of Denham Springs and
Stephen 
and his wife, Mary Helen Hood of Bunkie; two sisters, Louise Johnson of French
Settlement, Lois 
and her husband, Keither Bryan of Port Arthur, Texas; sixteen grandchildren, Crystal
Mallett, 
Benjamin Painter, Michael Normand, Stephen Mallett, Lane Painter, Paige Brouillette,
Jake Juneau, 
Lance Normand, Chantell Normand, Johnathan Normand, Dean Mayeux, Grace Bordelon,
Bailey 
Warren, Hailey Tigner, Jude Normand, Hayden Tigner; three great grandchildren,
Brooklyn Johnson, 
Stephen Mallett, Ryan Brouillette.
