Obituary - Extracted from Alexandria Daily Town Talk, Tuesday, 
8 February 1996, P. D-3, Column 3. 

Wiley Rabalais died 6 Feb 1996 in Avoyelles Manor Nursing Center at 
age 91, a resident of Plaucheville Survivors: Wife, Anne Dufour Rabalais 
of Plaucheville, La.  Daughter: Genevieve Lacour of Plaucheville, La.  
Sons: Russell of Waggaman, La.; Savoie of Baker, La.; Bobby of 
Prairieville, La.; Dean of Pride, La.; Raymond of Plaucheville, La.  
Sister: Anna Jeansonne of Baton Rouge, La. 26 Grandchildren and numerous 
Great-grandchildren. Services: Held at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church 
with Rev. Scott Chemino officiating. Entombment: Under direction of 
Escude Funeral Home in Mansura. Body placed in the Mausoleum at the 
cemetery.
