Schwartzenburg will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum under direction of Hixson Bros., Marksville. Schwartzenburg, 90, of Marksville died Friday, July 16, 1999, in Avoyelles hospital. He was a native of Marksville, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a retired retail merchant in Marksville for many years. Survivors include his wife, Myrl Dupuy Schwartzenburg of Marksville; two sons, Ralph Schwartzenburg of Marksville and Frank Schwartzenburg of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Elaine Schwartzenburg Edwards of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Agnes Schwartzenburg of Baton Rouge, Mariam Ann Trahan of Florida and Lelia Dolfin of Dallas, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 6-9 pm today and from 7:30 a.m. until time of services Monday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or charity of choice.
