Marjorie Brochard Smith, age 78, of Cottonport (La.) died at 4:15 a.m.
Friday, 6 Aug 1993 in Avoyelles Hospital, Marksville (La.).  Survivors:  
Son, Michael H. Smith of Cottonport.  2 Daughters:  Mary Faye Desselle & 
Janice Ann Armand, both of Cottonport.  2 Sisters:  Helen Marchant & 
Nellie Duplechin, both of Cottonport.  Brother, Richard Brochard of
Cottonport.  7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Services:  
Will be at 10 a.m. today in St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church with 
the Rev. Russell Lemoine officiating.  Burial:  In St. Mary's No. 1 
Cemetery, under direction of Escude (Funeral Home), Cottonport.
