Marriage certificate
                                             Filed October 18th 1882

State of Louisiana
Parish of Avoyelles....Be it known that on this twenty ninth day of September
A.D. one thousand eight hundred and eighty two Before me the undersigned
_____________ in and for the Parish of Avoyelles, Personally came and 
appeared Mr. Joseph Ferdinand Mayeux and ____ Josephine Coco who having
produced the license required by law signify their intention and desire
to be united in the bonds of matrimony.

Whereupon, I, the said _________________ in the presence of the under-
signed competent witnesses, did join the said parties in wedlock and
pronounced them man and wife.  In faith whereof, the said parties, together 
with the undersigned witnesses and me, the said _________________ have hereunto,
on the day, month and year past aforesaid, signed these presents.
