Cole and Roberta B. Doty Updated February 1993 We would never have found this interesting little cemetery if it were not for Dolly Peveto. She found out what we were doing and offered to show this one to us. She told us stories about its origin which we have been unable to authenticate, but needless to say, the cemetery is there. It is on private land north of Starks, but south of the Clark cemeteries. It is from the turn of the century since there is a tombstone there with dates back to 1904. There are small sink holes to indicate small graves and some larger ones to indicate full-sized graves. If and when we can find an official story of this cemetery, we will be glad to share it with one and all. There is an oldtime animal wire fence around the cemetery held in place by wooden fence posts, and it is completely devoid of underbrush and/or weeds, which indicates to me that someone in the area is taking care of the lonely little cemetery. They are to be commended for this. Thank you, Dolly for taking us to see The Dr. Ross Carter Cemetery. ================================================================================ HOLLINGS, ALTON FLAK, W.SECTGO 1894 1918 HOLLINGS, WORTH CARTER, ARTIE 18-- 1905 CARTER, HOSE 1901 1919 CLARK, ROY CLARK, W.L. 1888 1904 CLARK, SARAH ================================================================================
