                THIS IS ONE OF MANY INDIVIDUAL GRAVESITES
                       SCATTERED AROUND THE AREA:
 
     Mr.Stretton's grave is located in the front yard of his former home on
La 113, just north of the Beauregard\Allen Parish line on the west side of
the road. 
     A pink marble tombstone marked with the names of the couple who lived in
a remote rural area, is placed under an oak tree facing south. There are
Jacobs ladders and other flowers planted nearby.  It is sad to say, no-one
lives in the house now and the yard is grown up in grass and weeds. 
Mrs.Stretton's name is on the marker but is still living.  This is the
information on the stone:
