Julia Anderson Service Slated Here Thursday 

Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Julia Sellars 
Anderson on May 20th in a Houston, Texas, hospital, following a 
long illness. 

Graveside services will be held in DeRidder at Woodlawn 
Cemetery, Thursday, May 22, at 1:00 p.m. under direction of 
Hixson Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Anderson was a DeRidder native, a co-owner of the Sellars 
Hotel on First Street, which she managed un­til her retirement 
when she left to make her home in Houston. 

She is survived by one sister, Miss Ida Belle Sellars of 
Houston.
