Obituary: Eular Ashworth

Eular Ashworth (Apr. 1, 1912 - Jan. 12, 1980)
Eular Ashworth, 67, passed away Saturday, January 12 in Rapides 
General Hospital in Alexandria. 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Occupy No. 1 
Baptist Church in Pitkin, with the Rev. Burl Huffman of­ficating.
Burial was in Occupy No. 1 Cemetery, under the direction of 
Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder. 

Mr. Ashworth is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtie Ashworth of 
Pitkin; six sons, Roger, Don­nie, J.C., and Ray Ashworth, all of 
Pitkin, Murrell Ashworth of Houston, and Mike Ashworth of 
Pollock; seven daughters, Tammy Marshall of Woodsworth, Rhonda 
Voiselle of Boyce, Nelva Moras of Marksville, Kathy Townley of 
Houston, Texas, Barbara Holland of Hineston, Maybell Voiselle of 
Pitkin, and Madeline Naquin of DeRidder; also 36 grandchildren 
and two great grandchildren.
