Earl D. Barker Funeral Rites Held Monday 
Word has been received here of the death of Earl D. Barker on 
March 29 at 10:35 a.m. in St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta,
Georgia. He was 52 years old. 

Memorial services were held at Shallowford Presbyterian Church,
Atlanta, Georgia, on Monday, March 31, at 11 a.m. with the 
Rev. Tom Fred Tenney delivering the eulogy assisted by Dr. 
Thomas Are, Pastor at Shallowford. 

Mr. Barker is survived by his wife, Nelda Lou Tenney Barker of 
Dunwoody, Georgia; two daughters, Denean Barker of Dunwoody, 
Georgia, and Mrs. Phyllis Ann Biesecker of San Ramon, 
California; one grandson, Brian Biesecker; and one brother, 
Ralph Barker of Ponca City, Oklahoma. 

The family designated memorial gifts be sent to Southeastern 
Cancer Research Foundation, 105 Collier Road, Suite 4080, 
Atlanta, Georgia 30343, or Sisters of Mercy, St. Joseph's 
Hospital, 5665 Peachtree, Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30343.
