Mrs. Mary Honea Bass

  Funeral services for  Mrs. 
Mary Honea Bass were held at 
2 p.m. Tuesday in Hopewell
Baptist Church, with the Rev.
Farley Green officiating. Int-
erment was in Hopewell Cemetery
under the direction of Hixson's
Funeral Home.
  Mrs. Bass died at 5 p.m. Sunday
June 27, in Memorial Baptist Hosp-
ital. She was 90 years old.
  She is survived by two daughters,
Mrs. Lillie Bailey of DeRidder, two
sons, Tanner Honea of DeRidder, and
James L. Honea of Groves, Texas;
three sisters, Mrs. Rachael Higgin-
botham and Mrs. Dessie Lambert of
DeRidder, Mrs. Charity Brister of
Leesville; a brother, Richard Austin
of Leesville, 50 grandchildern, 88
great grandchildern and 9 great,
great grandchildern.
