WILLIAM BURGE

DERIDDER - Funeral services for William Burge, 83, will be at 10 a.m. 
Thursday in the Hixson Funeral home Chapel with the Rev. Luther Nichols 
officiating. Burial will be in Hinson Cemetery in the Knight community 
with Mason graveside rites. 

Mr. Burge died at 1 a.m. Monday in Beauregard Memorial Baptist Hospital. 
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Isabelle Burge; two sons, Everett and 
Irvin A. Burge, both of DeRidder; three daughters, Mrs. E. F. Fowler of 
St. Louis, MO., and Mrs. Jack Austin and Mrs. Bert Whittington, both of 
DeRidder. Also, seven brothers, Andy and Ernest Burge, both of Singer, 
and Walter, Arthur, Cecil, Gordon and Floyd Burge all of DeRidder; three 
sisters, Mrs. Mattie Pruitt of Singer: Mrs. Bell Rogers of DeRidder and Mrs. 
Evelyn Dubois of Leesville; 18 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
