All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ************************************************ Calcasieu-Beauregard-Allen Parish Louisiana Tabitha ("Aunt Bitha") Cole April 19, 1972 LCAP April 20, 1972 Mrs. Tabitha Cole RAGLEY - Funeral services for Mrs. Tabitha (Aunt Bitha) Cole, 90, of Route 1, Ragley, will be at 3 p.m. Friday, April 21, at the Creel Memorial Chapel in Bel. The Rev. A.W. Sassman, pastor of the Bear Pentecostal Church in Ragley will officiate. Burial will be in the Creel Cemetery at Bel under direction of Johnson Funeral Home. The body will remain in the funeral home until Friday morning at 8 a.m., when it will be taken to Creel Memorial Chapel where it will lie in state until time of services. Mrs. Cole died at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, in a Lake Charles hospital. She was born in Imperial Old Calcasieu near the Gillis area, and lived there all her life. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Veatch and Mrs. Lucile Mouhot, both of Ragley; two sons, David Cole of Ragley and Leo Cole of Lake Charles; three brothers, Alvin Reeves of Reeves and Arthur L. Reeves of Bel and the Rev. Allen R. Reeves of Jeanerette. Also, three sisters, Mrs. M.E. Farr and Mrs. Bill White, both of Sulphur, and Mrs. Ada Troughber of Colorado; 22 grandchildren; 21 great- grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
