Jared Dean Crochet   
Jared Dean Crochet, 29, of Baton Rouge died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006.  
Mr. Crochet was born in Ragley, and lived in Baton Rouge. He worked for the  
state Housing Department as an Administrative Contractor. Mr. Crochet graduated  
from South Beauregard High School and received a B.S. in Anthropology from  
Louisiana State University. Mr. Crochet enjoyed music, recording and playing  
the bass guitar.  

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Crochet and fianc¨¦ Dale McCray of Denison,  
Texas; father, Larry Crochet and wife, Karen of Moss Bluff; two sisters, Shontesa 
Hine and husband, Tim of Lake Charles and Nikki Lundquist and husband, Cliff, of 
Moss Bluff; and his paternal grandmother, Edith Crochet.  

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, in the Johnson Funeral Home. 
A gathering of family and friends is from 6-10 p.m. Friday and will continue from 
9 a.m. Saturday until the time of service in the funeral home.
