Deason Submitted by Cindy Prince Taken from Beauregard News October 28, 1971 Lonnie E. Deason Funeral services for Lonnie E. Deason Were held at 2 p.m. Monday in Providence Baptist Church with the Reverends Curtis Dickens, Charles Best and W.h. Owens Officiating. Interment was at Drakes Fork Cemetery, with Hixson’s Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Deason died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday, October 23, in Memorial Baptist Hospital. He was 64 years old. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mertie Deason, of Rosepine; four daughters, Four sons, 11 grandchildern, three Great grandchildren; seven sisters, Mrs. Henry Bass and Mrs. Russell James Of Rosepine, Mrs N.D. Carney, Mrs. Pete James, Mrs. Andrew James, Mrs. Lottie James, and Mrs. Lanie James, all of Pitkin; two brothers, Roy and Haywood Deason, both of Pitkin.
