J. J. Dickerson

MERRYVILLE - Funeral services for J. J. (Jack) Dickerson, 82, will be at 
2 p.m. today in the Merryville Pentecostal Church.

The Rev. Hardy Droddy and Rev. W. D. Andrews will officiate. Burial will 
be in Merryville Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of 
DeRidder.

Mr. Dickerson died at 2 a.m. Saturday in his home. He was a retired logging 
contractor and a member of the Merryville Pentecostal Church.

Survivors are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Penny Lee and Mrs. Carmalite 
Robertson, both of Austin, Tex.; two sons, Olen and Daniel Dickerson, both 
of Beaumont; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
