October 11, 1980 LCAP October 12, 1980 Edward J. Trouard Funeral services for Edward Joseph Trouard, 51, of Ragley will be at 2 p.m. Monday, October 13, in Hammer Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. James Droney will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley with Masonic graveside rites by Magnolia Lodge. Mr. Trouard died at 9:05 a.m. Saturday in a local hospital. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today, Oct. 12, in the funeral home. He was an operator for Gulf States Utilities at Nelson Power Plant for 31 years. He was a native of Lake Charles until 1961 when he moved to Ragley and was a World War II Navy veteran. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 238 F.&A.M. of Ragley, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite and York Rite, and a member of the Flivver Unit, Habibi Shrine Temple, DAV Chapter No. 20 of DeRidder, Moose Lodge of Lake Charles, and was a past patron of the Star of Magnolia, Eastern Star, No. 232. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Anna Bell Cole Trouard; one son, Ronald D. Trouard of Ragley; one brother, Melvin C. Trouard of Lake Charles; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Meaux of Lake Charles and Mrs. Betty Bales of Richmond, Va. and two grandchildren.
