MRS. SARAH VARGO

Mrs. Sarah Caroline Vargo, 81, of 621 Dixie drive died today at 4:40 a.m. 
She had been a resident of Lake Charles for the past year and a half.

She was born in Mystic, La., on Nov. 21, 1880.

Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Merryville 
Pentecostal church with Rev. E. P. Wilkins of Lake Charles officiating. 
The body will remain in state at the church until the time of the funeral. 
Burial will be in Spikes cemetery in Bancroft, La.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Vargo of Lake Charles; one son John J. 
Whitman of Buna, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Ludie Bloodwoorth of Lake Charles, 
and Mrs. Frank Richardson of Beaumont, Texas; one brother, J. J. Dickerson of 
Merryville; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
