This photograph of the DeRidder Fire Department was taken in front of the 
fire station which was a part of the City Hall, located on the corner of 
Shirley and Stewart Streets. The old engine is a 1921 American La France 
with hard rubber tires. The newer engine was a 1937 Chevrolet. The fireman, 
facing north, are standing on the Shirley St. side of City Hall.
