Stephen Jackson Blalock married 2nd Elizabeth Henrietta BROWN. James Riley, along with parents, grandparents, uncles and other families set out in a wagon train for TX. Stephen Jackson's wagon pulled out in Jackson Parish La. for a childbirt. Two of his brothers, James Hubbard and John, continued on to TX. Stephen Jackson decided to stay in the area because of the soil, water and plentiful game. James Riley served CSA Pvt. Co C 2nd La Infy. Married 1867 Mary Ann Rachel Elizabeth VAIL.
