Original date 1836 Claibore Parish but recopied into records in
Bienville Parish records in 1849

Wesley McClarly to John Arledge

State of Louisiana Parish of Claiborne
Know all men by these presens that Wesley McClarey of the state and
Parish aforesaid, have this day bargained and sold assigned and
set over
& assured all my equal and un_____area of a certain tract of
parcel of
land lying and being in the parish of Claiborne having the following
description to wit  south west quarter of section number twenty
one in
Township number sixteen of Range number five west containing one
hundred
and sixty and 70/100 acres of land unto John Arleage  resident of
the
state and Parish of aforesaid here present accepting of receiving
the
same and I Wesley McClarey as hereby for myself, my heirs and
assigns
forever warrent and affirm the __ and title of my equal and __-
half of
said land  unto the said John Arleage , his heirs & assigns  The
said
sale is made for in ___ certain of the sum of one hundred dollars in
hand paid the receipt whereof I the said Wesley McClarey as hereby
acknowledge in testimony whereof we have subscribed our names on
this 20
th day of July AD 1836 in Presence of the witnesses hereunto
subscribed
